CNCS Family Involvement Program
WE NEED YOU!
Our school is structured as a parent/teacher cooperative. Family participation is central to the success of the CNCS program. Please expect to participate in the following ways:
- Every family contributes 40 hours per year
- Every family joins at least one school committee
Families are expected to track their volunteer hours by logging them on their parent participation sheets located in the parent room. This information is kept in a master database maintained by the Office Coordinator. Three times a year a report is generated and you will receive an update on your hourly commitment at City Neighbors.
Logging Volunteer Hours
- You can easily enter your volunteer hours online here
- Print out, complete and submit a Volunteer Hour Tracking Log
- If you attend an event, please remember to:
- Complete the Volunteer Participation Voucher at the volunteer event.
- Enter hours earned at community activities into your volunteer tracking hour folder located in the Parent Lounge.
